Mrs. Jessie I. (Dieringer) Lewis, 11-5-1874 to 1950 Mrs. Ida M. Lewis, 75, of 150 Rice St. (Alliance), died Wednesday afternoon in her home after an illness of two years. Born in Waynesburg, she came here from Malvern 37 years ago. Mrs. Lewis was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Alliance and a member of the Missionary Society of the church. She was also a member of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. Surviving are her husband, Jessie I. Lewis; a son, George Dietrich of Alliance; seven sisters, Mrs. Katherine Carl of Malvern, Mrs. Grace Dager, Miss Nora Dieringer, Mrs. Florence Elsass, and Mrs. Edna Muckley of Waynesburg, Mrs. Elizabeth Fraley of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Frances Mottice of Canton; a brother, Oscar Dieringer of Alliance, and a grandchild. Services will be conducted Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the Cassady & Turkle Funeral Home by Rev. Michael Goldner. Burial will be in Fairmount Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight.
