Here is the obituary notice for Grant Mottice. It is an unidentified newspaper clipping, though probably from the Canton Repository. It is undated but likely a day or so after his death on March 9, 1938:
"Grant E. Mottice, 72, Dies at Aultman Hospital "Grant E. Mottice, 72, died Wednesday morning at Aultman Hospital following an illness of several weeks. He is survived by his widow, Frances Mottice; three daughters, Ruth of Canton and Helen and Mary of the home; five sons, Donald, Marion and Robert of Akron, Arnold of Canton and Merle of the home and one brother, Garfield Mottice of near Waynesburg.
"Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 from the Presbyterian Church in charge of Rev. E.E. Bacon and burial will be made in Sandy Valley Cemetery. The body is at the Finefrock funeral home and will be taken to the home Thursday at 1 o'clock."
