Arnold Lorain Mottice, 3-30-1907 to 10-8-1989
Mr. Arnold "Arnie" L. Mottice, age 82, passed away Sunday evening in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. He retired from the Ohio Power Co. in 1971 after 38 years of service.
Survived by his wife, Marian with whom he celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversar4y on March 30; daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Roger (Shirley) Myers of Canton; granddaughter, Mrs. Thomas (Rochelle) Haas of North Canton; grandson, Mr. Todd Myers of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters, Mrs. Mary Stratton of Waynesburg and Mrs. Ruth Garster of Canton; brothers, Robert N. of Smithville, OH and Marion "Jeff" and Merle C., both of Florida.
Preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Francis; a brother, Donald; a sister, Helen Grein. He was a member of the Ohio Power Retirement Club.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church with Fr. Rev. Jose A. Vazquez officiating. Burial following in St. John's Cemetery. Callers in the Don Williams Funeral Home Wednesday 7-9 p.m.
