Vada Reip Davis
Vada Reip Davis, 91, of Espyville, PA, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2007, at her home.
She was born at Orma, the daughter of the late Curt and Lucy Tucker Parsons. She had been a resident of Orma until four years ago when she moved to Pennsylvania. She had been a caregiver for many people in her own home for over 30 years. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Dalton Reip, Jr., and wife Norma Jean of Minnora; one daughter, Emma Jean Conley and husband Victor of Espyville; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Everett Parsons.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dalton Reip, Sr.; her second husband, Dale Davis; one son, Robert Blaine Reip; one daughter, Delores Jewell Hersman; and 12 siblings.
Services will be held Friday, 11 a.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Burial will be in Reip Cemetery, Orma. Visitation will be on Thursday, 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
